To start this off, I own 2 Void putters now. I purchased a Saber putter last year and love everything about it EXCEPT... the ability to use the putter to pick up my gimme's. But the putter itself is excellent. I kept seeing ads everywhere about the new labs, found one in a neighboring city and went and tried it out, only to find out that I didn't like the way that it felt in my hands. Shortly after, I saw Void was doing their own version with the Centerfire putter. I have a bad habit of getting something stuck in my mind until I buy it, so naturally I make a ton of bad decisions. I'm happy to say though, that this was not one of them. After ordering and waiting a few weeks for it to show up, I took it out to the course and played a few rounds with it. Initially it felt a little weird, having the grip angled slightly backwards when I was putting, but after playing a couple months with it now, I love it. I enjoy the way that it feels, my putts feel stable each and every shot, even when I hit off the heel or toe side of the putter. Is the balanced putters a fad? Possibly, did I buy into it? Sure did.. do I regret it? Not a chance. The guys that I play with occasionally have even ordered their own after testing mine out on the greens. We figured they are like Pokemon, gonna have the whole collection of colors soon. On a serious note though, this thing feels amazing when putting, I ordered the heavier weights and my back stroke all the way through my follow through just feels smooth, no "torque" or rotation, consistent feel throughout the stroke, and ball striking is consistent across the face of the putter. I would highly recommend this putter to anybody. As for the gimme pickup, while its not as easy to do as an Odyssey putter, it's still easy enough to do. I can't recommend this putter enough, I just wish they had them in the Pro shops to lend out, so i didn't have to keep letting my buddies play with mine.
