Midnight Black USVG Goliath
So my Goliath arrived last week and now had a session on the putting green and put it in the bag for a round. Firstly it’s a damn good looking putter which sets up really nicely behind the ball. Sits really well on the ground and easy to align. It’s not a soft insert so there is a definite ‘ping’ sound off the face but feel wise it matched the stroke and I haven’t felt either a loss of roll or like it’s rocketing. Whilst the blurb focused on consistent roll on long putts what really impressed me is how stable the putter is on short putts. I had an odyssey stroke lab 10 mallet before and can easily say this is far more stable. The result was I drained everything putt I had from inside 5 feet with total confidence. So I’m really impressed with my new VOID Goliath and nothing negative to say
Putter feels solid. Stopped my short putts. Has saved me 2-3 shots already on the few rounds I have played. Head looks very large and easy to get a fluid movement. Playing partners are very interested in my new putter too.
Only negative would like different weights as no everybody likes light ones
Goliath is over 370 grams stock, heavier than most mallets. The weights are tungsten alloy and 40 grams each, the heaviest commercially available for their size. What you're proabaly not used to is the balance and weight distribution of Goliath which can make it feel lighter than it is! If your looking for a heavier feel or still want to add weight, email our team and we can help you out.
I have a lot of putters, inc. a LAB and a Scotty. This putter is as good or better than both.
